“My experience with Sunset Gates was professional from the beginning. When I called they came to my house for an estimate very promptly. When he arrived (on time), he educated me on a lot of important factors regarding the gate. This was important because I was wanting a custom R.V. gate. Needed to tear down existing wall and build a pillar for proper codes and support. Which the last gate guy never mentioned. Everyone showed up on time as agreed from the masonry guy to the installer….. I have worked in the manufacturing industry for over 25 years. The gate is very solid , clean construction and design. Was worth every penny. Truly the finest quality I have ever seen. Important factor for me was they did not try to up sale me. AWESOME JOB SUNSET GATES LLC.!”

"I spoke to Shawn about a drop rod pipe for my RV gate. He made helpful suggestions to try and fix it myself while on the phone. After a few do-it-yourself tries, I decided to have Sunset Gates come out and repair the RV gate for me. Shawn came alone and was able to fix the RV gate for less than he quoted. Overall, it was a great experience and I would use his company again."

"Shawn gave us many options and priced them all out for us, from standard & functional to decorative since we were not quite sure how elaborate we wanted to be. We ended up adding a few inches of height, security slats and a locking mechanism so there is much more privacy. We drive around the neighborhood now and notice how everyone's gates allow you to see into their side yards and everything they may store there. Also within 24 hours of install we got two compliments from neighbors - can't get better than that."

"This was a comfortable, easy, and impressive experience from start to finish! Shawn is extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful while presenting options. The installation was also very professional, ending with quality workmanship and an impeccable clean-up. The wrought iron has a handsome, durable powder coat finish and the cedar woodgrain is beautiful with no stainless steel bolts showing when viewed from the front of the house. The privacy straps are an excellent addition, well worth the small added price. I highly recommend Sunset Gates!"

"Shawn, the owner, was professional, friendly, and prompt. He was patient while showing me the options for a small gate and offered suggestions as to the best way to enclose the courtyard. The gate was finished and installed in a timely manner and, although it was not inexpensive, is of high quality. Shawn even adjusted one of my backyard gates that was not closing properly. I would definitely use Sunset Gates again."

"They came out within a day or so of calling for an estimate with a whole host of options to choose from. We picked out what we wanted and ordered the same day as we had already seen other contractors and knew they could give us a gate with the options we wanted. It took about 3 weeks from order to have it fabricated and installed. Installation went smoothly and the people were very courteous, neat and took pride in their work. They even called a few days after the install to make sure we were completely satisfied. I would use them again!"

"We couldn't have been more pleased. Shawn came to our house within a day after we called him, based on the recommendations on Angie's list, and after our initial call, he promptly emailed us a color brochure with the various levels of gates he had available and their options so we weren't flying blind. When he came to the house, he was very personable and forthright. We showed him the gate to be replaced and we opted for an upgraded gate. The prices were reasonable and there were no hidden costs. Sunset Gates gets a very high recommendation from us."
