“I called Sunset Gates based on the reviews in Angie’s list. I had not heard of them before. My call was answered by Shawn McPeters who couldn't have been nicer or more professional. We set up an appointment for him to come look at the work I was requesting in a timely manner that met both of our schedules. In the meantime, he sent me some brochures to look at and get ideas for what look I liked. He showed up on time and spent a lot of time looking at what I wanted done and giving me helpful suggestions. Upon completion, I was stunned at how great they looked and functioned. They made a huge visual improvement to the look of the house, and they function wonderful. The balance due was exactly what we agreed to when I ordered them. No surprises. Can't say enough good things about Shawn and Sunset Gates!”

"They came out within a day or so of calling for an estimate with a whole host of options to choose from. We picked out what we wanted and ordered the same day as we had already seen other contractors and knew they could give us a gate with the options we wanted. It took about 3 weeks from order to have it fabricated and installed. Installation went smoothly and the people were very courteous, neat and took pride in their work. They even called a few days after the install to make sure we were completely satisfied. I would use them again!"

"The experience was great. They were helpful, promp & polite. We had 2 estimates done. The other was a litlle cheaper but the materials used by this company were much better quality so we went with them. When they came to give us the estimate they told us it would take 7-10 days for the gates to be made. They called us on the 10th day to schedule the installation which was 2 days later. It all went well & we are very pleased."

"I spoke to Shawn about a drop rod pipe for my RV gate. He made helpful suggestions to try and fix it myself while on the phone. After a few do-it-yourself tries, I decided to have Sunset Gates come out and repair the RV gate for me. Shawn came alone and was able to fix the RV gate for less than he quoted. Overall, it was a great experience and I would use his company again."

“Sunset Gates is great! We had an estimate from another company but they never returned our phone call to setup the install. Other companies never returned our initial phone call. We found Sunset Gates and the process was great. They replaced 2 smaller gates and 1 R.V. gate for us. The gates look fantastic and the fact that they could install them when we were out of town was nice. Shawn was very easy to work with from our initial contact through the final payment. Highly recommended!”

"We met Shawn McPeters and the January home show in Phoenix . At the time he gave us a rough estimate. We contacted him the following week and followed up with an email detailing the type of gate we were interested in. The week after he came out to the location and did actual measurements and gave us a written proposal on Feb. 1, 2012. We agreed on the price, gave him a 33% deposit and the gate was completed and installed on Feb. 15, 2012. It looks great and we are very satisfied with the whole process."
